MÚSICA E CRIATIVIDADE
INSTRMNTS is a touring exhibition of contemporary musical instruments that reimagines music-making as a collective, participatory experience. Developed over more than twenty-five years of artistic research, instrument design and public engagement, the exhibition brings together original instruments, performances, workshops and sound installations to explore new relationships between composition, design and collaboration. Visitors are invited to discover music through playing rather than observation.
EXPOSIÇÃO
Each presentation combines exhibition, live performance, artistic mediation and hands-on participation, allowing visitors to encounter the instruments both as sculptural objects and as living musical interfaces. We have also designed an educational program developed with schools, providing a hands-on learning experience.
DESIGN PERSONALIZADO
We collaborate with museums, cultural institutions, festivals, municipalities and artists to conceive, design and realise original musical instruments, interactive installations and participatory environments.

Workshops in the exhibition space follow a narrative approach as each instrument tells the story that shaped its design. Through listening, experimentation and collective performance, participants discover how instrument design drives musical thinking, cooperation and creativity.

ACRUX
UANA
Designed for collective music-making, UANA is ideal for educational programs and engaging young people in the art of music. The Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences of West Virginia in Charleston, USA has one installed in their state-of-the-art music studio, providing a unique opportunity for musicians to explore new sounds and compositions.

TIPAW
Tipaw, one of the four contemporary musical instruments commissioned by the National Museums of Scotland in Edinburgh, is a unique creation inspired by rumors of a Bengal tiger roaming the museum after escaping from the local Zoo. Its name, a play on words combining “tiger” and “paw,” reflects the instrument’s feline influence. To play Tipaw, up to four musicians strike the lower portion of the inverted singing bowls, producing a gentle yet sustained sound reminiscent of a tiger silently moving through the forest.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
