INSTRMNTS is an exhibition where the visitor is encouraged to actively engage and interact with the instruments on display. The exhibition is meant to turn the gallery into a performance space and the visitors into performers. The works include a collection of up to fourty unique musical instruments, sound devices and sound installations.
HOW DOES IT WORK
In twenty five years of INSTRMNTS exhibitions we have captured visitors spontaneously playing the instruments available throughout the whole exhibit. A program of workshops offers everyone a chance to learn to play and get to know each instrument’s story. Local mediators guide the workshops for school children, young people, families and the general public.
A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT
Lots of activities happen in an INSTRMNTS exhibition. People playing and dancing, scheduled performances, workshops, informal talks and games deliver an innovative and dynamic program of activities for the visitors.

MORE INTERACTION
We bring in interactive devices such as tablets mounted on metal structures to allow the visitors to navigate the exhibition and learn more about each instrument’s story. We can also design the layout of the exhibition in collaboration with the host organizers or curators.
REDISCOVER SOUND
Our dedication lies in sparking inspiration among diverse audiences, bringing them together in a shared journey of musical exploration. Visitors gather around our instruments, admiring their craftsmanship, and immersing themselves in the joy of experimenting with the diverse sounds each one produces.
DESIGN AS A VARIABLE
Our instruments are in constant development with designs inspired by nature. We make use of current digital fabrication technologies while handcrafting each instrument with great care and passion.
INNOVATION IN MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
The current digital technologies allow us complete freedom in designing and developing new musical instruments. We want these instruments to have the ability to be played by more than one player so that they can make some music together.

PLANETS AND STARS
A unique design, Sturn is inspired by the rings of Saturn and demonstrates the concept of instruments that respond directly to the musical lexicon chosen by the composer. It is also part of a series of instruments that, like Acrux or Epsylon Lyrae, use geometries related to orbits of planets or stars.

PLAY CONNECTED
The Acruxson installation features the latest generation of acruxes, paired with a central virtual acrux app. This innovative combination creates an immersive musical journey, transporting players to a world filled with sound and rhythm. The innovative design of the Acruxson allows players to seamlessly blend the physical and digital aspects of their performance, delivering a truly unique and captivating experience.
READY TO INSTALL
We offer an exhibition ready to be shipped in crates with everything from stands, some metal dividers with screens, tablets, lighting and sound equipment for the installations. It takes one to two days to set it all up.
LAYOUT DESIGN
We are prepared to design the whole layout for an INSTRMNTS exhibition using a 3D model of the gallery space with animations and graphics that we can supply to the promoter for a better visualisation of how the exhibition will look like.
WE SHIP IT ANYWHERE
The INSTRMNTS exhibition has been installed in many parts of the world and we have experience in dealing with shipments in Europe, Africa, North and South America.
